DUBAI HOSTED THE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION "GULFOOD", WHERE THE PRODUCTS OF ECO HALAL WERE PRESENTED
February 21st to 25th, the 26th International Food Exhibition "Gulfood"was held in Dubai. “Gulfood” is the largest agro food exhibition in the Middle East region. Among its main objectives is to assist exporters in establishing direct contacts with potential trading partners in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. At the World Trade Center, our country was represented by 22 companies, demonstrating a wide range of products highly-demandedin the United Arab Emirates and other countries of the Persian Gulf.
Among Russian companies, ECO HALAL trade house took part in this exhibition, presenting Halal products produced at the Chamzinskaya poultry factory.
The Russian delegation that attended the opening ceremony of “Gulfood 2021” included representatives of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Russian Export Center, and the state corporation VEB.RF(Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs), heads of industry unions and food industry companies. In his speech at the opening of the exhibition, the head of the Russian delegation, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sergey Levin, expressed confidence that the international event will promote the establishment of new business contacts between producers from our country with partners from the Middle East, conclusion of mutually beneficial contracts and expansion of foreign markets for domestic products. He promised that the federal ministry will continue to support participation of Russian exhibitors in forums of this scale.
For the first time, the products from Mordovia presented in the UAE aroused great interest among representatives of the Persian Gulf and Africa countries. Within 5 days of the exhibition, the presentation of products was held; negotiations were held with representatives of the largest meat importing companies, with some of which cooperation agreements were reached.
Participation in the exhibition was held with the assistance of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia.
