Volleyball team, sponsored by the Trade house "ECO Halal" continues to perform in the Open championship of Saransk.

According to the chief referee of competition Victor Matveev, this year 18 teams from Mordovia and Nizhny Novgorod region participated in the tournament. Teams are divided into groups and the best then play among themselves. The chief referee also mentioned noticeable progress of the Muslim team.

This year “Ansar” has already won with a score 3:1 over the team of the School of Olympic reserve and has a chance to qualify from the group. The next opponent will be the team of the Mordovia State University. As the team captain Marat Salimov noted: "Most of the opponents in this tournament are stronger than our team, but this fact allows us to develop. It is known that only games with stronger opponents provide an opportunity for self-improvement. In addition, our example inspired another team to participate in the tournament. Since this year the team from the famous Tatar village Belozerye plays in the tournament. We are pleased with their participation and think that the number of teams will continue to grow."
